The truth of leadership

You always hear how being LCP changes your perspectives, your life, etc etc so i came into this role with the highest expectations... not only of the LC, but the change in myself. Until this point, I thought I had it all figured out, that what i knew everything because I've seen how it's been in the past few years that I was in the LC. I'm blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people... and I've realized there's so much I still need to learn about people management. I may have the spreadsheets and organization down, but is it enough? There's so much more to this world than getting the job done... understand people is what's key. Being empathetic, being able to speak up when you have something to say... unfortunately it doesn't feel like I've even remotely close to learning all these skills. But hey, that's what the rest of my life is for and there's still time to develop. That's what gives me the strength to keep going.

By making oneself more "complete", one maximizes his/her impact to other individuals and the world. Glad to hear that you're so resilient and driven in self-improvement.
