Farewell Timmy's

So I'm sitting at the Vancouver airport right now ready to embark on my new adventure. I love this airport, duty free shopping, and my last Timmy's for 4 months. Tis sad but true. Although i really don't need caffeine at this point, but I figured it would be unpatriotic to not have a Tim's before leaving here. 

Also, I've also received news that I'm staying at a HALL! It's one of the newer ones so it should be nicer and there'll be activities there and for sure other international students. So strange that I'm getting this news right as I'm about to take off but it's a nice surprise and hopefully I can get some stuff arranged before arriving. 

I think I'm also not as terrified as I was yesterday. But it still feels like I'm just going there for vacation, although i guess it will pass by as fast as a vacation and there'll be just as much partying :) It's strange that the homesickness is settling in VERY quickly. I had some time to think on the plane (this is the plus of traveling by yourself that you have a lot of time with your own thoughts) and even walking in the CALGARY airport I was starting to tear up (but i didn't cry, thank goodness). I know for sure my parents already miss me though... so sweet and overprotective of them. Anyways, more to update once I actually arrive there.... omg i haven't even left the country yet.
